Reply to low ratings with AI drafts

The To reply list gathers reviews that need an answer. On Starter, the AI drafts three replies in your voice that you copy and post yourself.

A calm, timely answer to an unhappy customer shows everyone that you listen. The To reply list gathers the reviews that need one, and on Starter the AI writes drafts you can check, copy and post yourself.

What's on the To reply list

Open To reply in your space's menu. It lists reviews with 1 to 3 stars, or that read as negative, that you haven't marked as answered yet. They come from every source and stay on the list whether or not they're on your wall.

Each review shows its stars, name, platform and date, and Open original when the review has a link.

  1. Press Open original to go to the review on its platform, if there's a link.

  2. Write your reply there, on the original platform.

  3. Back in Laudely, press Mark as replied. The review leaves the list.

When you import a screenshot and tick You already replied on a card, that review doesn't land on the list.

Get an AI draft

  1. Press AI reply draft on a review.

  2. Read What the AI sees in this review: the Risk level, the Customer's mood, the Main issues and a Suggested approach, such as Invite the customer to contact you privately or Better not to reply.

  3. Pick one of three versions: Formal, Friendly or Brief.

  4. Press Copy next to it, change anything you like, and post it on the original platform.

The drafts are written in the reviewer's language. When that isn't your dashboard language, each version comes with a machine translation, so you know what you're about to post.

To see a draft you made earlier, press Show AI draft. Regenerate writes new versions. The reviewer's name is never sent to the AI.

Always read a draft before you post it. The AI can misread a review or get a detail wrong, and the reply goes out under your name.

Make the drafts sound like you

Open Settings and find Brand voice. Social posts are written in the same voice.

  • Tone: Friendly or Professional.

  • Tone notes (optional): a few words on how you write, up to 200 characters.

  • Signature (optional): added to the end of every AI reply, up to 80 characters.

  • Usual compensation (optional): what you normally offer when something went wrong, up to 300 characters. The AI never promises more than this, and if you leave it blank, it offers nothing.

Press Save at the bottom of the page when you're done.

You post the reply yourself

Laudely never posts replies for you. It also isn't connected to Google Business Profile yet. To get a draft for a Google review, first add that review by screenshot or by hand, then post your reply on Google yourself.

How the monthly allowance works

Starter includes 50 AI reply drafts a month. The To reply page shows how many you've used this month.

  • Opening a draft you've already made doesn't count again, as long as your business name, Brand voice, dashboard language and the review are unchanged. If one of them changed, AI reply draft writes a new draft, and that counts. Regenerate always counts.

  • A draft that fails is not charged. Neither is a draft that Laudely throws away because it contained a link or contact detail that isn't in your settings, or promised compensation you haven't set.

  • The allowance resets on the 1st of each month (in UTC), and unused drafts don't carry over.

Star rating goal

At the top of the To reply page, the Star rating goal calculator shows how many more 5-star reviews it would take to reach 4.0 and 4.5 stars. Type your Current rating (1.0–5.0) and Number of reviews from Google, then press Save. Laudely doesn't read your Google rating, and Google shows a rounded rating, so the result is an estimate. The calculator shows arithmetic only. It is not a target for asking happy customers: invite all your customers in the same way, and don't set review targets for your staff.

Use it to track your progress, and keep inviting every customer, not only the ones you expect to be happy. The numbers you enter also appear in your monthly report.

Limits by plan: Free: the To reply list only. Starter: 50 AI reply drafts a month and the Star rating goal calculator.
