Import reviews from screenshots
Upload screenshots of reviews from any site or chat. AI turns them into cards that you check before anything is added to your reviews.
Have reviews on Google, Facebook, a delivery app or in a chat? Upload screenshots, and AI reads them into review cards that you check before anything is added to your reviews. Screenshot import is part of the Starter plan.
Upload your screenshots
Open Update reviews in your space menu.
Under Manual update, press Import screenshots.
Drag your screenshots onto the page, or press Choose files. On a phone you can also press Take a photo.
Keep the page open until every upload has finished.
You can upload up to 30 screenshots at a time: JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 10 MB each. If an iPhone image won't open, upload it from Safari. If you upload an image you imported before, choose Open earlier import or Recognize anyway.
When every upload has started, the review page opens by itself. If one needed your attention, such as a duplicate, press See results. Screenshots are read three at a time.
Check the cards
On Check the recognized reviews, each review becomes its own card, and one screenshot can hold several reviews. Compare every card with its screenshot and fix anything the AI got wrong: the name, the stars, the text, the Platform and the Review date.
Look out for these markers:
Please check: something on this card may be wrong. If the stars may have been misread, choose the rating yourself.
Possible duplicate: you may have imported this review already. These cards start unticked.
Recommendation (shown without stars): a recommendation rather than a star rating. Walls show it without stars.
Merge into previous: use it when one review was split across two cards.
You already replied: tick it if you have answered this review, so it isn't listed as waiting for a reply.
Each card has an Import checkbox; untick it to leave that card out. Select all ticks every card. Ratings without any text are skipped.
Private chats: consent and blacking out
A screenshot of a private chat, such as LINE, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram DMs, email or a text message, needs the customer's permission before it can go public. Tick The customer agreed to public display only if the customer really agreed. Without it, the review is imported but can't be published.
To hide personal details on a screenshot:
Press Black out details under the screenshot.
In Black out private details, drag over names, photos, phone numbers and any other people's reviews. The AI may suggest what to cover.
Press Save. Use Edit blackout to change it later.
Visitors only ever see the blacked-out copy, and your original screenshot stays private. On your walls, the source label of a private-chat review opens this blacked-out copy (View screenshot) once you've saved one; without it, visitors see no screenshot.
Confirm the import
Tick I confirm I have the right to publish these reviews.
Wait until every screenshot has been recognized.
Press the import button, for example Import 5 reviews.
Imported reviews start as Awaiting approval. Press Go to reviews awaiting approval to publish them, or Reply to low ratings if some have 1 to 3 stars.
Later, you can edit an imported review to fix a reading error, but never to change what the reviewer meant or the stars they gave. Imported reviews always stay in their original language and are labeled Provided by business on your wall.
Your monthly allowance
The count, shown as "Screenshots this month", resets on the 1st of each month (in UTC). Unused screenshots don't carry over.
Deleting a screenshot doesn't give the allowance back.
If the AI service doesn't respond, that screenshot isn't counted. A screenshot the AI takes too long to read is counted.
We email you when you've used 80% of the month's screenshot imports.
When the allowance is used up, screenshot import pauses until the 1st. You can still type reviews in by hand.
If you leave before confirming, the batch waits on Update reviews under Screenshots waiting for your review. Press Continue to pick up where you left off. Until you confirm, the screenshots and the AI's suggestions are kept as an unconfirmed import, and the images have already been sent to our AI provider to be read. Screenshots you never confirm are deleted after 7 days.
Limits by plan: Free: not included; add reviews by hand instead. Starter: 50 screenshots a month (UTC calendar month).
