Add a review by hand
Copy a review from any website, chat or email into Laudely, with a link to where it came from. This works on every plan.
Got a kind review on another website, in a chat or by email? You can copy it into Laudely, with a link to where it came from, and show it on your review walls. This works on every plan.
Add a review
In your space, open Update reviews.
Under Manual update, press Type a review.
Fill in the fields described below.
Tick I confirm I have the right to publish these reviews.
Press Add review.
You'll see “Review added, awaiting approval.” The form clears, so you can add the next review right away. In a new space, Paste a review a customer wrote before on the Overview page takes you to the same form.
The fields
Rating: tap 1 to 5 stars, or leave it at “No rating”, for example for a Facebook recommendation. Set to no rating clears stars you've set.
Review date: starts at the current date and time. Change it to the date of the original review.
Name: the reviewer's name as it appears on the original. Required.
Platform: where the review was left, such as Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, LINE, Email or Other.
Content: the review text. Required.
Source link: optional. A link to the original review, starting with
https://.
Copy the text exactly as the reviewer wrote it, and give the stars they gave.
On your wall, the review's source label (Provided by business) links to the source link, so visitors can check the review for themselves. This needs Show source and verification label, which is on by default. If you leave the link empty, the label links to your profile on that platform, if you've added one in Settings > Platform links.
Reviews from private chats
LINE, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram DM, Email and SMS are private conversations. When you pick one of these platforms, an extra box appears: The customer agreed to public display.
Tick it only if the customer agreed that you may show their message publicly.
Without it, the review is saved but can't be published. You can tick Customer agreed to public display later, when you edit the review.
Private chats have no public page, so leave Source link empty. For these platforms, the source label is never shown as a link, even if you enter one.
After you add it
The review waits as Awaiting approval in Manage reviews. Nothing goes public until you approve it.
On your walls, its source label reads Provided by business, so visitors know you added it.
It always stays in its original language. Laudely never translates reviews you add yourself.
AI sorts it by sentiment and topic in the background, like any other review.
To fix a mistake, open Manage reviews and press the pencil icon (Edit) on the review's row. Fix copying errors only; never change what the reviewer meant or the stars they gave.
Low ratings
A review of 1 to 3 stars that you add by hand goes on the To reply list, so you remember to answer it where it was posted. It doesn't send you a low-rating email.
Limits by plan: Free: included. Starter: included. On Free, each review you publish counts toward the 10 published reviews per space.
