Approve, hide, highlight and delete reviews
Nothing goes public until you approve it. Learn the review statuses, how to highlight your best reviews, and how to edit or delete one.
Every new review waits for you, whether it came from your collect page, a screenshot or you typed it in. Nothing goes on your review walls or your standalone page until you approve it. You do all of this in Manage reviews.
Review statuses

| Approved & public | Shown on your walls and your standalone page. |
| Approved · hidden | Kept, but not shown. You can change it back at any time. |
| Approved · locked | Approved, but over the Free plan's limit, so not shown. |
| Approved · awaiting consent | Approved, but the customer's agreement to public display isn't recorded, so not shown. |
You can't pick the last two yourself. Laudely shows them automatically.
Approved · hidden is handy for a review that's fine but that you'd rather not show, such as one that names someone who no longer works for you.
Change a review's status
For one review:
Open Manage reviews.
Click the review's status badge.
Choose the new status.
For several reviews:
Tick the reviews in the list.
Press Approve & publish, Mark as awaiting approval, Approve & hide or Delete above the list.
New reviews also wait on Overview under Not sorted yet, where Add to wall approves and publishes a review in one click.
A review from a private chat, email or text message can only be published once Customer agreed to public display is ticked in its edit form.
Highlight your best reviews
Turn on the Highlight switch on a review's row to put it at the front. Highlighted reviews come first on your walls and standalone page, followed by the most recently published ones.
Only an Approved & public review can be highlighted, and only if the customer agreed to public display.
If a review stops being Approved & public, its highlight is turned off.
A wall can show highlighted reviews only. Tick Show highlighted testimonials only in the wall's settings under Widgets (the dashboard calls a wall a widget).
Edit a review
Reviews from your collect page stay exactly as the customer wrote them, and they carry the badge Customer's own words. You can publish, hide or delete them, and with the gear icon (Review settings) on their row you can remove photos or the video or clear the staff name. The text, rating, name, title and quote can't be changed.
Reviews you imported or typed in open with the pencil icon (Edit), in Edit testimonial. You can change the Content, Featured quote, Name, Title / company and Rating, and tick Customer agreed to public display. Fix reading or copying errors only; never change what the reviewer meant or the stars they gave.
If a customer left an email address on your collect page, the review shows it as Email (not public). Visitors never see it.
Delete a review
Tick the review in Manage reviews.
Press Delete and confirm.
Photos and videos are deleted right away and can't be restored. The rest of the review is removed for good after 90 days, and there's no way to bring it back from the dashboard. If you only want a review off your wall, use Approve & hide instead.
Find reviews
Use the tabs at the top (All, Awaiting approval, Approved & public, Approved · hidden) to pick a status. Below them are filters for Source, Rating, Language, From, To and Search name or text. Press Apply to use them or Reset to clear them. You can also filter by Any sentiment and Any topic, and by Any tag once your space has its own tags. You can also tick 5 stars, not on the wall yet, Has marketing consent, Social content already made or Not sorted yet.
The list shows up to 200 reviews, newest first. Use the filters to find older ones.
Limits by plan: Free: up to 10 approved and public reviews and 10 highlights per space. More reviews still come in and are kept; to show a new one, set another to Approved · hidden. Starter: no limit.
