What happens when your paid plan ends
When Starter ends, your reviews are kept. Here is what changes on Free, which features stop, and the one thing deleted after 30 days.
When you cancel Starter, it stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and then your account moves to Free. If a renewal payment fails, Starter stays on while the charge is retried, and your account moves to Free only if every retry fails. Either way, your reviews are kept; what changes is how many are public and which features work.
Changed your mind after cancelling? You can resume your subscription from Plan and billing at any time before it ends.
Your reviews
Moving to Free doesn't change or delete your reviews. It only limits how many of them are public.
Your review walls and standalone page show 10 reviews per space: highlighted reviews first, then the most recently published.
Your other public reviews show Approved · locked in Manage reviews, with the badge Locked · upgrade to show. They aren't public, but they're kept.
To choose which 10 are shown, use Highlight on the reviews you want. On Free, you can highlight up to 10 reviews per space.
New reviews keep coming in through your collect page, and they are kept too. To publish one of them, first set other reviews to Approved · hidden until fewer than 10 are published, locked ones included. Or publish them all after you move back to Starter.
Features that stop or change
The small "Made with Laudely" link comes back on your walls and standalone page.
Wall filters (topics, tags and the visitor's language first) keep working. On Free, a wall picks from the 10 reviews it shows.
Views and clicks on your walls and page are no longer counted.
AI writing help on your collect page stops.
AI reply drafts, AI carousels, AI social post texts, screenshot import, the Star rating goal calculator and the Monthly report need Starter. The To reply list, low-rating emails and quote cards keep working (on Free, 30 card images a month).
Your AI carousel stays, and you can still edit its words and colours; downloading it or making a new one needs Starter.
The weekly email becomes the short summary: how many new reviews came in and how many are awaiting your approval.
Customers can send new video reviews until a space has 3 videos. Videos you already have stay.
Screenshots you haven't imported yet
Screenshots that AI already read before your plan ended can still be checked and imported: open Update reviews, find Screenshots waiting for your review and press Continue. Screenshots still waiting to be read won't be read; you can delete the ones you no longer need. As on every plan, screenshots you never confirm are deleted after 7 days.
Fewer spaces on Starter
Removing a space from Starter takes effect at your next renewal. If you then have more spaces than your plan covers, the extra ones are locked: they go offline for visitors and are read-only for you, but nothing in them is deleted, and locked spaces on Starter are never part of the 30-day screenshot deletion below. Choose which spaces stay online under Account; if you don't choose, your oldest spaces stay online. Add a space again and the locked one comes back. See Add or remove spaces on Starter.
When Starter ends, Free keeps one space online, the same way.
The one thing that is deleted
Once your account has been on Free for 30 days, the screenshots attached to locked reviews are deleted, both the original and the blacked-out copy. The reviews themselves stay. A screenshot used by several reviews is deleted only when all of them are locked.
If you subscribe to Starter again within those 30 days, everything comes back, screenshots included.
Emails about your plan
We email you when your plan is about to end after you cancel, when a payment fails, and when your plan has ended. These messages are always sent, even if you turned other emails off.
Limits by plan: Free: 10 public reviews per space (and up to 10 highlights), 3 video reviews per space, quote cards with 30 card images a month, and no screenshot import, AI reply drafts, AI carousels, AI social post texts or monthly report. Starter: unlimited public reviews, video reviews and card images, and all of these features.
