Turn reviews into social posts and quote cards

On Starter, AI makes an Instagram carousel in one press, from your good reviews or what you want to say. On any plan, make quote cards and carousels yourself.

On Starter, one press is enough: choose whether the AI works from your customers' reviews or from what you want to say, answer a few questions, and the AI writes the words for every slide, chooses the colours and makes an Instagram carousel, captions included. On every plan, you can also pick reviews yourself and make a quote card or a carousel, with the background and size you choose. The customer's words are copied from the review exactly; the AI only writes the text around them. You choose what to post, and you post it yourself.

In the menu, Social posts has an arrow: press it to show its three pages, one for each thing you can make. AI carousel makes a whole carousel with the AI. Make your own cards is where you pick reviews and make quote cards and carousels yourself. Post texts writes six texts about one review. While you're on one of these pages, the menu shows all three. When you come for one review, for example from Manage reviews, you land on Post texts with that review chosen on Starter, and on Make your own cards with that review on the card on Free.

A carousel is one Instagram post with several images that people swipe through. It isn't the same as the Carousel layout of a review wall on your website.

  1. Open Social posts > AI carousel.

  2. At the top, choose how the AI makes it: From customer reviews or Promote what I want to say (see the next sections). The card you choose has a tick and Selected.

  3. Answer the questions under it.

  4. Press Make a carousel. The page shows The AI is picking reviews and writing…, The AI is writing… or The AI is writing and picking customer reviews… with a spinning icon. It takes about 20 to 60 seconds.

  5. The slides appear as small images under a large preview. Press one to see it large.

  6. Download them as they are, or change the words and the look first (see below).

The page opens on the way you used last time in this space. The first time, it opens on From customer reviews when at least 2 reviews can be used, and on Promote what I want to say otherwise. Each way's answers are remembered when you press the button, even if the AI doesn't get it right that time, and are filled in next time; after that, they're shown as one line with Edit answers. Switching between the two ways keeps what you wrote for each.

The carousel is kept for the space. When you reload the page, or open it on another computer, the same carousel is there with your changes, and nothing is counted again. If you change the way or your answers without pressing Make a carousel again, the page says so above the slides, for example This carousel was made from your earlier answers.

The first time in each space, a notice called Before your first post appears. Read it and press I understand. Nothing is made until you have.

On Free, the page says the AI carousel is part of Starter, with Upgrade to Starter. You can see both ways and fill in the questions, but pressing the button opens the upgrade window. If Starter ends, your AI carousel stays: you can still edit its words and colours, but downloading it or making a new one needs Starter.

From customer reviews

The AI picks 3 to 5 of the reviews you can use right away (see the next section) and quotes them exactly. Three questions shape how it writes. Each one is optional and starts on Any:

QuestionChoicesLeft at Any
PurposeIntroduce us to new customers, Recommend a product or service, Announce an event or something new, Tips or know-how, Thank our customersWhat customers liked
What should viewers do?Visit us, Book or reserve, Message us, Follow the link to learn more, Leave a reviewAn invitation to visit, book or send a message
ToneWarm and friendly, Professional and reliable, Lively and funNatural and friendly, to suit your description

The answers change how the AI writes, never what it says: everything still comes from the chosen reviews, so Announce an event or something new doesn't make up an event, an offer or a date. With Leave a review, the closing slide invites everyone who has visited to share their experience, with no stars, no "if you liked it" and no gift.

When fewer than 2 reviews can be used, this way can't make a carousel, and nothing is counted. The card says so, and under it the page says At least 2 usable reviews are needed with how many you have, and what to do next: reviews waiting to be made public (with Go to Manage reviews), reviews waiting for your consent declaration or a health confirmation (with Go to Make your own cards), or, when there are none, Invite customers to leave reviews first. Switch to “Promote what I want to say” takes you to the other way, which needs no reviews.

Which reviews the AI uses

The AI only picks reviews you can use right away:

  • Approved & public, agreed for public display, and with marketing consent;

  • good: 4 or 5 stars, a recommendation, or no rating, and positive in tone;

  • at least 10 characters long.

It doesn't pick reviews that still need your consent declaration, or that may mention a health effect (or haven't been checked for one yet). You can still use those in Make your own cards, one review at a time.

Laudely gives the AI your 10 best usable reviews, as rated for showcasing. For a carousel made from customer reviews, the AI picks 3 to 5 of them, preferring reviews that are specific and talk about different things; as proof for what you want to say, it picks 1 or 2 that fit your topic. It sees their text and rating, your business name and the description from Settings. It never sees the reviewers' names, the dates, your address, phone number or opening hours, your own link or any photos.

The slides it makes

For a carousel made from customer reviews, how many slides depends on how many reviews the AI uses:

ReviewsSlidesIn this order
24Cover, 2 reviews, closing slide
36 or 7Cover, what customers care about, 3 reviews, maybe a summary, closing slide
47 or 8Cover, what customers care about, 4 reviews, maybe a summary, closing slide
58Cover, what customers care about, 5 reviews, closing slide
  • Cover: your logo or name, a title written by the AI, and a fixed line asking people to swipe, with an arrow.

  • What customers care about: a title and 2 or 3 short points, taken only from what the chosen reviews say.

  • Review: a short headline about what the customer talks about, the stars, the customer's own words (up to 140 characters, exactly as written), the signature and the page number, for example 3/8.

  • Summary: a title and a few points worth saving, each something a customer mentioned. The AI adds it only when the reviews talk about different things.

  • Closing slide: your logo or name, an invitation written by the AI to visit, book or send a message, and the fixed sentence for your QR code, with the code itself. By default the code leads to your standalone page.

The AI's words on the slides never contain numbers, star counts, averages, "all customers", "the best", health or result claims, contact details, reviewers' names or emoji, and they don't copy the customers' words. The AI also picks one of the 8 recommended styles, all easy to read. The size is Portrait 4:5 1080 × 1350, which Instagram recommends for carousels. Check every slide before you post it.

Promote what I want to say

Answer six questions, and the carousel says what you want your customers to know:

QuestionHow to answer
Topic (required)One line, for example "Our autumn menu is here": up to 30 characters in Chinese, Japanese or Korean, 45 in Thai and 60 in other languages
What you want customers to know (2 to 5 points)One line per point, in your order. Add a point adds one, up to 5, and Remove takes one out. Up to 40 characters each in Chinese, Japanese or Korean, 60 in Thai and 80 in other languages
PurposeOne of the five purposes above
What should viewers do?One of the five actions above
ToneWarm and friendly (the default), Professional and reliable or Lively and fun
Add 1 or 2 customer reviews as proofA switch, on when reviews can be used. The page says how many can be used now

The count next to each line, for example 12/30, shows its limit; a line counts by the script it's written in. If the topic is empty, a line is too long, there are fewer than 2 points, two points are the same, or the purpose or the action isn't chosen, nothing is sent: the line says why with a warning triangle.

If you type a ranking or "the most", a rating, a count of reviews or customers, "everyone", a health claim or a guarantee, a warning appears under that line at once. Laudely carousels don't carry these, so the AI leaves them out; you can still press the button. A discount such as "20% off" is fine.

The AI uses only your answers, your business name, the description from Settings and, when Add 1 or 2 customer reviews as proof is on, the good reviews that can be used. The numbers on the slides and in the captions are only the ones you typed, exactly as you typed them, and so are contact details such as a phone number or a link. To post in another language, write your points in that language: the AI doesn't translate or convert them.

The carousel has 4 to 8 slides: a cover with a title and sometimes a subtitle, sometimes a You need to know slide, one slide for each point in your order, 0 to 2 Customer review slides, sometimes a summary, and the closing slide, which invites people to do what you chose.

With the switch on, the AI picks 1 or 2 usable reviews that fit your topic and quotes them exactly. If none can be used, the carousel is made from your points alone and counts once, and the page says This carousel has no customer review: none could be used right now. Switched off, the AI sees no reviews at all.

Change the words and the look

None of these calls the AI, and none is counted. Your changes are kept with the carousel and never change the style remembered in Make your own cards.

  • Words on this slide: next to the preview, each text the AI wrote on the slide shown has Edit text, the cover's subtitle and each point's title and lines included. Type your own words and press Done; the count next to the field, for example 12/40 (12/16 for posts in Chinese, Japanese or Korean, 12/24 in Thai), shows the limit. Words that are too long, that state a count, an average, a ranking or "the best", "everyone" or a health effect, that offer something for a review, or that name a reviewer, are refused with the reason and a warning triangle. Your own numbers and contact details are fine. An edited text has Restore the AI's text.

  • The customer's words can't be edited. When the review is longer than the passage shown, Choose another passage lets you select another part of the same review, up to 140 characters.

  • Change colours switches every slide to the next of the 8 recommended styles and says which one, for example Changed to: Midnight. After 8 presses you're back where you started.

  • Background and size opens the same panel as for the cards you make yourself: recommended styles, solid colours, gradients, patterns, the text colour, and Square 1080 × 1080 or Portrait 4:5 1080 × 1350. The last tile, Photos (coming soon), can't be pressed yet: your own photos and a photo library will be added there.

  • Closing slide's QR code: the same four choices as for the cards you make yourself (see The closing slide's QR code).

If the words of a slide don't fit, that slide is marked Doesn't fit with a warning triangle. Shorten them; until then, nothing can be downloaded.

Captions

Under the slides are an Instagram caption and a Facebook post, each with Copy. They ask readers to swipe through the carousel, end with 3 to 5 hashtags, and contain no links unless you typed one in your points: the QR code is on the last slide. They never name a customer, quote a review or carry a number you didn't type. Change them after you paste them, if you like. If a caption didn't come out right, the page says so; press Make a carousel for new ones.

Download all, Download this one, and Prepare the cards then Save to phone work as for the cards you make yourself (see Download or save to your phone). On Starter, downloads are unlimited and nothing is counted. Just before the files are saved, Laudely checks every review, every text and the QR code again; a slide that can't be used is marked Can't be used with the reason.

Press Make a carousel again to make a new carousel the way you chose, with your answers above. Because the new one replaces the carousel you have, a window first asks Make a new carousel? and whether you've saved the current one: if not, press Cancel, then Download all. The window also says that it uses 1 and how many are left this month, which way and language it uses, and that the words you edited will be replaced. The colours, size and QR code stay as you set them. Press Confirm to make it; Cancel or the Esc key keeps the carousel you have. A carousel made the other way replaces the one you have too.

The AI's words and the fixed sentences on the slides are in the Language of the posts, which starts as your space's default customer language. The customers' words aren't translated. To change it, choose another language and press Make a carousel; the window names the language.

A carousel made from customer reviews is deleted when one of its reviews has its marketing consent withdrawn, is no longer Approved & public, is no longer agreed for public display, or is deleted. The page then offers Make a carousel again. A carousel made with Promote what I want to say stays: only that review's slide is taken out, the slides are numbered again, and the page says so. When you withdraw marketing consent, the confirmation says so.

If a review of the carousel is later found to mention a health effect, its slide asks you to confirm it before you download. If a review's text was edited and the passage no longer matches it, the slide says so: choose another passage, or press Make a carousel for a new one. If your business details or a review changed, the page says the carousel may not be up to date; you can still download it.

Make your own cards

In Make your own cards, you pick the reviews, the number of slides and the style. It works the same on every plan; on Free, the card images you download are counted (see Your monthly allowance).

Make a quote card

  1. Open Social posts > Make your own cards. You don't need to write any texts first.

  2. Choose the Language of the posts. It starts as your space's default language. The signature on the card, for example "Google user", is written in it.

  3. Under Number of slides, keep 1 (single card).

  4. In the list of reviews, press Add to cards next to the review you want to use. To use another review instead, press Add to cards next to that one.

  5. Choose a style under Card style (see below).

  6. Press Download PNG.

You can also start from a review: press the megaphone icon (Make a social post) on its row in Manage reviews, or Make a social post in the Not sorted yet list on Overview. On Free, Make your own cards opens with that review already on the card. On Starter, Post texts opens with that review chosen; press Make a card under its texts to put it on a card.

  1. Under Number of slides, choose 3, 4, 5 or 6. The cover and the closing slide count as slides, so 5 slides are a cover, 3 reviews and a closing slide. The page says what the set holds.

  2. Untick Add a cover or Add a closing slide if you don't want one. That place goes to one more review, and the number of slides stays the same.

  3. Press Add to cards next to each review you want. Reviews go into the empty places in order. Until every place has a review, the page says how many more reviews are needed, and nothing can be downloaded.

  4. Change the order with Move up and Move down, or take a review out with Remove. Each review slide has its page number in the corner, for example 2/5.

  5. Choose a Cover title. The 3 titles are fixed sentences, printed in the language of the posts.

  6. Choose the Closing slide's QR code (see the next section).

  7. Under the large preview, the slides of the set are shown small. Press one to see it large.

When the set is full, Add to cards can't be pressed. To add more reviews, choose more slides, or untick Add a cover or Add a closing slide. When you choose fewer slides, or turn the cover or the closing slide back on, the reviews that no longer fit move out from the end. The page names them, and they stay in the list so you can add them again.

There is no 2: for one review, use a single card. A carousel can't be made in the story size; if your card size was Story 1080 × 1920, it changes to Portrait 4:5 1080 × 1350, which Instagram recommends for carousels.

The cover shows your logo or name, the title and a line asking people to swipe, with an arrow. The closing slide shows your logo or name, two fixed sentences of thanks and invitation, and the QR code you chose. These sentences are in the language of the posts, so your customers can read them. They never mention a number of reviews, an average rating or "all customers", and they are the same for everyone, whatever their rating.

The closing slide's QR code

Under Closing slide's QR code, choose where the code leads:

  • Your standalone page (default): your shop's details and your public reviews, with a link to leave a review at the bottom.

  • Collect page: the page where customers leave a review.

  • Your own link: for example your WhatsApp link (wa.me), a booking page or a menu. Paste a link that starts with https:// and press Use this link. Links that start with http://, links without a domain name and links with a user name or password can't be used; the page says why. A link can have up to 200 characters. Short links are fine. If the link is longer than 60 characters, the page warns that the text printed on the card will be small. A space has one own link, shared by the AI carousel and the cards you make yourself.

  • No QR code: the closing slide has no code and no link.

The QR code is always black on white, so it scans on every background, and the link is printed under it. The standalone page and the collect page open in the language of the person who scans the code.

Before you download, scan the code with your phone once to check that it opens the right page. Your own link must not lead to a page that first asks customers whether they were happy and then decides where to send them (Terms 10.3). Laudely never opens your link to check it and never sends it to the AI.

A card can't be changed once it's posted. If your Slug is still the one Laudely suggested, starting with shop-, the page shows a red warning with Change it in Settings: you can change your slug only once, and changing it later breaks the link and the QR code on cards you already posted. If your space is locked by your plan's number of spaces, or your account is deleted, the standalone page and the collect page stop opening, and so do the QR codes that lead there.

Choose the card's style

  • Recommended styles: a background and a text colour that already go together. Press one to use it.

  • Background: Classic (the cream card with a green frame, the default), 12 Solid colours plus Custom colour, 8 Gradients and 6 Patterns. For a pattern, you can also pick its Pattern background colour. The background you chose has a tick, and its name is shown above the list.

  • Text colour: Automatic picks dark or white text so the card is always easy to read. Dark text or White text can't be chosen where it would be hard to read; a warning triangle next to it says why.

  • Card size: Square 1080 × 1080 (the default), Portrait 4:5 1080 × 1350 (Instagram's recommended size for posts) or Story 1080 × 1920 (a single card only).

Every slide of a carousel has the same background and size, because Instagram shows the whole post in the shape of its first image. Filled and empty stars show the rating, so it reads without colour. On a dark background, your logo sits on a white plate so it stays visible.

When you download, Laudely remembers the style for that space, on any computer, and shows Style remembered: the background, the text colour, the size, the number of slides, the cover and the closing slide, the cover title, and the QR code with your own link. Your next card starts with it.

The passage on the card

Each review slide shows a passage of the review of up to 140 characters, exactly as the customer wrote it. When the review is longer, the slide is marked Choose a passage with scissors, and you choose the passage:

  1. Press Choose a passage or Choose another passage, or use the box that opens under the review.

  2. Select up to 140 characters of the review's original text, then press Use the selected text.

If the passage contains a phone number, an email address or a link, a warning appears. Check that it belongs on the card before you post it.

The cards are made in your browser and Laudely doesn't keep them. They never show a profile photo, another platform's logo or "Made with Laudely".

Download or save to your phone

  • Download PNG saves a single card.

  • Download all saves one ZIP file with every slide of the carousel, numbered 01, 02, 03… in order. Open it on a computer by double-clicking it.

  • Download this one saves only the slide shown large.

  • Prepare the cards, then Save to phone: the first press makes every slide and checks the reviews; the second opens your phone's share menu, where you can save all the images to your photos at once and then choose them together in a new Instagram post. These two buttons appear only for a carousel, and only where your browser can share images. On Free, the first press is when the images not yet counted this month are counted, even if you then close the share menu without saving. After the images are saved, the next save to your phone prepares them again; images already counted this month aren't counted again. If the share menu can't open, the ZIP file is saved instead.

Every image is drawn afresh in your browser, so the files have no location or camera data.

Just before the files are saved, Laudely checks every review again, for example in case you withdrew a consent in another tab. If a slide can't be used, it's marked Can't be used with the reason, and nothing can be downloaded or saved until you remove that review and fill its place, or choose fewer slides. The slides are then numbered again.

Write posts from a review

On Starter:

  1. Open Social posts > Post texts, pick the review in the list and choose the Language of the posts.

  2. Press Write the posts.

  3. Copy the texts you want and post them yourself. Laudely never posts for you.

On Free, the page says post texts are part of Starter, and Write the posts opens the upgrade window.

What you get

Six texts: Instagram post, Instagram story line, Facebook post, Threads, Google Business Profile post and Short video caption. All but the story line and the Google post end with 3 to 5 hashtags.

The texts follow the Brand voice you set in Settings, and never contain star counts, links or superlatives. For different wording, press Write them again.

Which reviews can be used

A review can be used for cards and posts when:

  • it's Approved & public and visitors can see it on your wall (on Free, the 10 public reviews your wall shows);

  • it has text;

  • it isn't negative, that is, not negative in tone and not rated 1 or 2 stars;

  • it's marked as agreed for public display;

  • it has marketing consent.

The lists in Make your own cards and Post texts show only reviews that are Approved & public. If you open one that isn't yet, from Manage reviews or the weekly email, the page says so: press Go to Manage reviews and set it to Approved & public first.

Reviews from your collect page have marketing consent: customers agree when they send them. For any other review, tick the declaration that the reviewer personally agreed, only if they really did, and press Save my declaration. In Make your own cards, the declaration appears in the review's own place on the card, one review at a time, and that slide waits until you save it. The posts and cards then don't show the reviewer's full name or photo, for example "Maria S." or "Google user".

If a customer asks you to stop, open Manage reviews, open that review with the pencil icon (Edit) or, for a review from your collect page, the gear icon (Review settings), and press Withdraw marketing consent. The posts saved from it are deleted, and it's taken out of AI carousels (a carousel made from customer reviews is deleted); posts and cards you already published, you take down yourself.

Health and regulated businesses

Medical care, aesthetic medicine, medicines, health supplements and finance have strict advertising rules, even when the customer agrees. You are responsible for what you publish.

A review that mentions a treatment or its effect gets the badge Mentions a health effect. Most countries ban using a patient's treatment experience in medical advertising, so check your local rules, then tick the box to confirm before you go on. In Make your own cards, the box appears in the review's own place, and the review goes on the card only after you tick it. The AI carousel doesn't pick these reviews.

Your 10 best recent reviews

On Overview, Turn the best 10 recent reviews into social content opens Post texts with the 10 reviews from the last 30 days that AI rates highest for showcasing. In the window that opens, tick the declaration for each review you have permission to use (the others are skipped), then press Write the posts. You can close the window and come back later. This writes texts, so it needs Starter.

Your monthly allowance

On Starter, AI carousels and post texts share 30 AI social posts a month, shown next to the button as AI social posts left this month. Each carousel made (press Make a carousel, and Confirm when you already have one) counts once, whatever the number of slides. Opening the carousel again, editing its words, changing its colours and downloading it are free. If the AI doesn't get it right, nothing is counted; if only a caption didn't come out right, the slides are delivered and it counts. When the 30 are used up, the page shows the date the count starts again, and you can still change and download the carousel you have.

On Free, each card image you download counts once, up to 30 a month, with no daily limit. A carousel counts each of its images, the cover and the closing slide included, so 5 slides count 5. Before you download, the page shows how many the card or the set uses and how many are left this month. A slide you already downloaded this month is marked Downloaded this month and doesn't count again if nothing on it has changed: the review, the passage, the page number, the title or the QR code, the style, the size and the language. Change any of them and that slide is a new image; the other slides of the set don't count again. Download this one counts only that slide. Prepare the cards counts the set's new images when you press it, before the share menu opens.

If a set needs more than you have left, the page says so, with Fewer slides and Upgrade to Starter for unlimited cards; you can also download some slides one at a time. When the 30 are used up, the page shows the date the count starts again; images you already downloaded this month can still be downloaded again. If the images can't be made, nothing is counted. If saving the files fails after that, try again: those images aren't counted twice. On Starter, cards are unlimited and nothing is counted.

For texts, each set of posts written for a review counts as one of the same 30. On Post texts, that means each press of Write the posts or Write them again. In the window for your 10 best recent reviews, one press of Write the posts writes a set for each review you confirmed, so it can use up to 10. Reviews marked "Already made" don't count again. Opening posts you already made is free, a failed attempt isn't counted, and the count starts again on the 1st of each month (in UTC).

Limits by plan: Free: quote cards and carousels you make yourself, 30 card images a month; no AI carousels or texts. Starter: AI carousels and post texts, 30 a month together, and unlimited cards.
