How Laudely uses AI, and what to check

Where Laudely uses AI, what it sends to the AI provider, and what you should check before you rely on a result.

Laudely uses AI to save you time: sorting reviews, reading screenshots, drafting replies and more. AI can be wrong, so you always see the result before it is used.

Where your data goes

AI features use Anthropic's API. Anthropic stores the data in the United States, and the AI may run in other countries where Anthropic operates. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through the API isn't used to train their models, and Laudely doesn't use your content to train AI models either.

Anthropic deletes what we send and what the AI returns within 30 days. If its systems flag a request under its usage policy, it may keep that request and the answer for up to 2 years, and the related safety classification scores for up to 7 years.

Questions you forward from the AI virtual support agent to the Laudely team are emailed to our support mailbox, with the conversation and your account email.

AI sorting

Reviews with text are sorted automatically by sentiment (Positive, Neutral or Negative) and up to 3 of 16 topics, such as Service, Price or Waiting time. If you added Custom tags in Settings, the AI also adds the ones that fit.

Some reviews get the badge AI recommends showcasing, with the reason, for example that the review describes a specific situation. You use these to find good reviews for your walls and posts; nothing is published by itself.

To change how a review is sorted:

  1. Open Manage reviews.

  2. Press the pencil icon (Edit) on the review's row, or the gear icon (Review settings) for a review from your collect page.

  3. Change the Sorting section and press Save.

What you set stays: AI will no longer overwrite the sentiment, topics and tags of that review.

What to check

  • Screenshot cards: compare names, stars, text and dates with the screenshot. Nothing is added to your reviews until you confirm.

  • Sorting: fix it when a topic or sentiment is wrong.

  • Translations: correct any language on the review's Translations page and press Save and lock.

  • Reply drafts and social posts: read them before you copy them. You post them yourself.

  • Report summaries: read the reviews themselves before you act on a summary.

Laudely also checks some AI output for you. A reply draft that adds a link or contact detail you haven't set, or promises compensation you haven't set, is thrown away and not counted. A translation that adds a link, phone number or number is thrown away too.

What AI never does in Laudely

  • It never posts anything for you, neither replies nor social posts.

  • It never writes reviews for customers. The writing help on your collect page only rearranges the customer's own words, and the customer chooses which version to send.

  • It never changes reviews from your collect page. Their text, rating and name stay exactly as the customer wrote them.

  • Laudely doesn't use AI to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on anyone.

Labels visitors see

Two notes are always shown on your walls and your standalone page, and you can't turn them off:

  • "Translated from …" on every translated review.

  • "The customer used AI to tidy the wording and confirmed it" on reviews written with the collect-page writing help.

In your dashboard, those reviews are marked Customer used AI writing help, and you can see what the customer wrote before the AI tidied it.

Limits by plan: Free: AI sorting, and translation into your display languages if you switch it on. Starter: also screenshot reading (50 a month), reply drafts (50 a month), AI social posts (30 a month, shared by AI carousels and post texts), collect-page writing help and report summaries.
