What customers see on your collect page

A field-by-field tour of the page where customers leave a review, what they must fill in, and what happens after they press send.

Your collect page is where customers leave a review on their own phone or computer, with no app or account needed. They open your link, fill in one short form and send it.

Where it lives and which language it speaks

Each space has its own collect page at laudely.com/r/ followed by your space's slug, for example laudely.com/r/your-shop. You'll find the link and its QR codes under Overview > Preview and share and on the Invite customers page.

To see the page yourself, press Collect page in your space's menu, under the space name, or Open under Preview and share. Both open it in a new tab. On Invite customers, the button next to the customer's language opens it in that language, for example Open the collect page in Japanese. Reviews sent by you or your staff must never be made public, so delete a test review in Manage reviews when you're done.

The page opens in the customer's language when their phone or browser uses one of the 12 languages Laudely offers customers, and in English otherwise. There is no language menu on the page. Links in the invitation templates open it in the language you picked for that customer.

The form, top to bottom

At the top, customers see "Share your experience with" followed by your space's name. Then come these fields, in this order:

  • Your rating: one to five stars. Required.

  • Rate the details: optional stars for the aspects you've named, such as Food or Service, if your space has any.

  • Your testimonial: the review itself, up to 3000 characters.

  • Video: customers can Record video (with the phone's camera app, or in the page on a computer) or Upload a video file (mp4, mov or webm, up to 60 seconds and 100 MB). Optional.

  • Photos: up to 4 photos, JPG, PNG or WebP, 5 MB each. Optional.

  • Your name: required, and shown with the review.

  • Job title or company: optional.

  • Who served you?: optional, and shown only when you've added names under Settings > Staff.

  • Email: optional. The page tells customers it is "Never shown publicly. Only used to contact you about this testimonial."

  • A required box where the customer agrees that your business may use the review on its website and in marketing.

The last step is Send testimonial.

How much customers need to write

A review with text only needs at least 10 characters. If the customer adds a video or rates at least one detail, the text can be any length, or left empty. Without aspect ratings on your space, stars alone aren't enough.

Photos, videos and privacy

Before a photo leaves the customer's phone, Laudely saves a fresh copy of it without hidden details such as the GPS position, the time it was taken and the phone model. Location data is also removed from mp4 and mov videos before upload.

The email address is for you only. You'll see it as Email (not public) when you open the review in Manage reviews; it never appears on your walls.

After the customer presses send

Customers see Thank you! and a note that their review has been sent to you. If you've ticked Show on thank-you page for any of your Platform links, they're also asked "Would you also leave a review on one of these?", with a button for each site. Every customer sees the same buttons, whatever rating they gave.

The review arrives in Manage reviews as Awaiting approval, and nothing shows on your walls until you approve and publish it. You can publish, hide or delete it, but not change the customer's words, stars or name.

A small "Powered by Laudely" line sits at the bottom of the collect page and the thank-you page on every plan.

If about 20 reviews for your space come from one network within an hour, the next customer on it is asked to try again in a few minutes. For a shared tablet in your shop, see Counter tablet mode.

What you can change

These cards are in Settings. Press Save at the bottom of the page to keep your changes.

  • Collect page questions: the Recording questions shown before customers record a video, and the Aspect ratings they can give.

  • Staff: the names offered under Who served you?.

  • Platform links: the review-site buttons on the thank-you page.

  • AI helps customers finish their review: an optional follow-up question when a customer writes only a few words. Off by default.

Limits by plan: Free: the whole form, with up to 3 video reviews per space; after that, the page stops offering video. Starter: unlimited video reviews, and AI writing help if you switch it on.
