Wall views and interactions
On Starter, Laudely counts how often your review walls and standalone page are seen and clicked, without cookies or visitor IDs.
On Starter, Laudely counts how often your review walls and your standalone page are seen, and how often visitors click on something in them. The numbers show you whether people actually look at your reviews.
What counts
Wall views: a view is counted when a wall, or the reviews on your standalone page, first come into view on the visitor's screen. The same visitor looking at the same wall again within 30 minutes counts as one view.
Interactions: clicks on a review's source link, photos, screenshot or video. A video counts the first time it's played.
What doesn't count
Previews in your dashboard.
Search engine robots, link previews and other automated visits.
Where to see the numbers
On the Monthly report page, in the Wall views and Interactions tiles. Switch between Month and Week to see a whole month or one weekly period.
In the weekly email, in the report for the last 7 days.
The numbers are added up for all the walls and the standalone page of a space. There's no separate statistics page.
How visitors' privacy is respected
Laudely stores only daily totals for each wall and page.
Walls set no cookies, and no visitor IDs are used.
To avoid counting the same view twice, Laudely uses a one-way code made from the visitor's IP address. The code changes every day and is deleted after about 2 days.
Your part
Your review wall (called a widget in the dashboard) runs on your own website. So mention in your own privacy notice that you use Laudely to collect and display reviews. Laudely's Privacy Policy explains what Laudely does with visitor data.
Limits by plan: Free: not counted. Starter: views and interactions for every wall and your standalone page. Counting happens only while your account is on Starter, so time spent on Free leaves a gap in the numbers.
